The Rotary Club of Newport members are a diverse group of professional leaders from the community. We have found great personal satisfaction in our blend of service and fellowship. Rotarians are business and professional leaders who take an active role in their communities while also enriching their personal and professional lives. Our international motto is "Service Above Self".
We recently worked to bring needed supplies to a burn clinic in Djbouti Africa and we have sponsored international high school students from Chile, Germany, Belgium, and France. We work both locally and globally because we believe that the world is our community. Our service efforts support the improvement of literacy as well as projects in education, youth service, and health inititatives. We also provide support and contributions to a variety of local organizations including Boys and Girls club of Newport County, Newport Public Library, Martin Luther King Center, Salvation Army and others. Among our many community service projects, we are known for the several thousands of dolloars we provide in scholarships to Rogers High School graduating seniors and deserving CCRI Newport students every year.
